Crime Report

Once upon a time there was a small town newspaper called The Key West Citizen.

Jeff’s favorite part of the paper was the Crime Report on page 2. . How could he not with headlines like; “Topless exposure caused car crash” or “Scooter driver hit with flying burrito”, or “Surprise came out from under the bed. The strange tale of the man, his ex and her new boyfriend.”

Motorcycles and romance. One day Jeff spotted a story about a pot-bellied pig named Chi Chi. The owner of a Harley came staggering out of a bar (Key West) to find Chi-Chi in an amorous embrace with his ‘hog’. The police carted the poor, cuffed and, well, frustrated Chi-Chi to jail.

The Pulitzer Prize winning journalist in Jeff couldn’t resist this story. CNN and Hard Copy did stories about Chi Chi too.
