Captain Hook

While this painting mixes a number of Jeff’s interests—history, boats, visual puns—this is one of only two paintings (Pig-O-War) where he paints historical vessels.

Jeff was a sailor as a child and even taught sailing on the Tom's River in New Jersey.  He loved competition, participating in many a race on the Chesapeake on a log canoe called Patricia. Sailing, pirates, a race, never growing up, a visual pun (the Hook, get it?). What could be more Jeff?
